If you're arriving Wednesday, I'd say start then,
and if there are several things at the same hour
see if there are multiple days.

Why not make a reservation at the Youth Hostel
in downtown Toronto. Probably cost $15-$20.
Or when you get to the con hotel, you could check
the bulletin board and hospitality suite for
others looking to share.
