Your analysis makes complete sense. I caught on early to the shifting/changing icons, but not the math behind the eight ball.
What I now would like to know is how you KNEW to perceive this 'crystal ball' in precisely this fashion. You knew to look for the math; did something give it away or are you a mathematician? Perhaps there is/was a pattern you recognized...?
